Make a list, just a simple list of "topics" that if you had all the time in the world and all the resources at your disposal, you could address successfully. Some topics may be problems, pain points, organizational, HR or strategic. There may one item or there may be 20. That's okay. Some may be just for you; others, the organization or a specific team.
Just name them - no details. These will be the "topics" we will address and work on a plan to get you from "Here" to "There". We'll prioritize them later. This is what we call defining the "Big Agenda" for how we work with you and your organization.
Based on Step 1, we'll meet online to prioritize and segment which topics are for individuals (including yourself) and which affect the organization. We will then discuss a cadence for our coaching, as well as the format that works best for you and your organization, i.e., remote via Zoom/Meetings/Teams, or in-person. Yes, we can meet in person.
For organizational issues, or hiring decisions we'll utilize the AbilityMap Human Capabilities Framework.
Once the above steps are agreed upon a contract will be drawn up and we'll begin the coaching process. Remember, our success is your success. We are simply the trusted coach that will work with you every step of the way to help you find success - under your terms. When a opportunity exists to offer wisdom, advise or a consultative solution, we'll let you know and give you the option to receive that support, or simply to continue to work through it with you.
